Fermented milk products[edit]

I propose to transform this template into "Soured milk products" or "Fermented dairy products". Yogurt is made from milk fermented with thermophile (preferring higher temperature) bacteria, while other products are made from soured milk fermented with mesophile (preferring room temperature) bacteria. But the products are closely related to each other and are often very similar. They are summarised in Fermented milk products. Thus, one would have those other products (buttermilk, kefir, soured milk, sour cream, etc.) not as "related" but as "normal" entries here. --Off-shell (talk) 05:37, 25 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
