It appears that changes to Template:Dynamic navigation box has broken this template, used on all the New Zealand railway line pages. Not sure how to fix it, but I will try in a day or two if no one else does. --Lee Begg 01:00, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I noticed that! I was quite baffled. I'd fix it if I knew how, but I honestly wouldn't have a clue how to do it. I'd be very appreciative of the work of anyone who tries to fix it! - Axver 03:18, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User:Chochopk has fixed the problem...

Christchurch lines[edit]

I just noticed that there is a red link for Lyttelton, but no link for Ferrymead. Why does there need to be a separate article for Lyttelton? What was envisaged for it? It is on the Main South Line, so surely it should be mentioned in that article? Also, there is an article on the Ferrymead Railway, should it not be listed in this template? -- Matthew25187 01:17, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ferrymead certainly needs a link and I'll add it now. As for Lyttelton, I'm not sure what to do there, as some sources deal with it separately - especially as until recently, its operations were distinct from the Main South Line, e.g. its commuter services. I'm not sure whether it should simply be dealt with as a subsection of the Main South Line or with its own article. Currently, I'm thinking the best idea is a small blurb on the main article with a larger dedicated article, like how a small blurb on the NIMT page then leads to a full Paraparaumu Line article. - Axver 08:50, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Auckland proposals[edit]

It occurred to me that the proposals for a North Shore line and an Airport line in Auckland should probably be listed under the "Significant proposals" section. If so, what should they be called in the absence of "official" names? – Matthew25187 (talk) 23:57, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think the airport lines might actually have official names - I recently read something about official designations being put in place? --LJ Holden 02:18, 12 October 2011 (UTC)

Why has the link for the North Shore line been removed? I don't see how it could seriously be suggested that it isn't a significant proposal, and is even still occasionally mentioned in the news media. If it was removed for being a red link (no article yet), then this would probably be a violation of WP:REDLINK. — Matthew25187 (talk) 12:17, 2 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Bush tramways / trams / light rail[edit]

These should really be added to the template; especially with the Sanson Tramway already being listed. LJ Holden 02:13, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've started a Bush tramway article --LJ Holden 04:09, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
