This template is POV[edit]

The same arguments being used to merge Category:"A" Film Festivals into Category:Film festivals can be applied this template in its current form. Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2007 July 5#Category:"A" Film Festivals. I would propose that this template be deleted, because expanding to include all film festivals would likely be an unworkable solution. — WiseKwai 06:43, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Template fixation[edit]

"Major film festival" is a very broad and ill-defined term for this template, since there are many "criteria" for what constitutes as a major or noticeable (media coverage, attendance, money, markets...) film festival. Changed the template to only include the twelve FIAPF accredited international film festivals.--TheLeopard (talk) 06:47, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You've only listed the competitive festivals which is still arbitrary. They've got four pages of accredited festivals. I suppose the only neutral option is to list all of them, unless someone sees a better method. Doctor Sunshine talk 18:39, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
