NV DVDs[edit]

Please talk before undoing commits. I worked for about 3 days in Prague talking to various people to find all the appropriate DVDs to create the last column, only to have all my work undone hours later. When I, myself, went to refer to the material (as part of a public discussion), I discovered it removed without a talk reference or good reason. Furthermore, the policy referenced "WP:OVERLINK" was incorrect because the modifications contained no links at all. This behaviour does not encourage contribution.

NV DVDs are a rehash of previously-released animations as a collection. Previously, Krtek collections were marked from 1-5. However, when it was realised that the 1957 Krtek 00 "How the Mole got his pants" was missing, they released a "best of" DVD with no number and included it as the first item.

NV DVD numbers are important because no complete box set has been produced, so individual DVDs must be purchased to own all shorts and films available. Furthermore, this column demonstrates that some shorts were never released on DVD (namely Rocket, Beach, and Flood), despite what some retailers will tell you. There is, at present, no legal "complete box set" of Krtek DVDs.

There is also considerable overlap between the "best of" DVD (otherwise known as NV DVD #1) and the first collections (1-5), as indicated in this column. Nejlepšich večerničků is not a reedited set, merely a repackaged one, so the same duplications occur as in the earlier releases. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.123.79.42 (talk) 21:04, 18 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for explaining your edit. Still, I can't see how such a list is encyclopedic or how it helps any reader. Considering what Wikipedia is not, I suggest to remove the list of "NV DVDs".
The remark WP:OVERLINK did not refer to anything to do with the edit which added the list but it explained in part the intent of other changes I made, changes which unfortunately were reverted when the list was added again. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 13:08, 19 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Films[edit]

Are the films listed separate to the short films or are they just anthology collections of the short films? Some additional info would be appreciated. 120.148.246.165 (talk) 01:50, 31 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

2 different Wikidata pages for same article.[edit]

Hi, I noticed that there are 2 pages on Wikidata for the Mole (link 1 and link 2) that basically covers the same article. The difference between them is that one is about cartoon and other about character itself. But articles on Wikipedia always have either page about the character or about the show, therefore I believe it would be better if interlanguage links would be unified under one of those. TheEditMate (talk) 00:39, 10 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

TheEditMate, I agree with you that the two entries should be unified. I'm not sure how to do that without looking it up, will you get a chance to research it? Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 02:25, 10 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Idk, I have never done anything like that before. I was hoping somebody that actually has some experience with Wikidata would do that. TheEditMate (talk) 11:32, 10 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
