This article reads like a promo for UVM... needs more information about the insect, less about experiments at a particular university. SB Johnny 17:18, 30 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This article is uninformative and doesn't site any references. "No truly effective or reliable management options currently exist. " This is not true, The use of polyculture and permaculture will control any insect population by maintaing soil heath and creating an ecosystem that makes it nearly impossible for one species to invade. Open your minds, stop trying to control nature and work with it! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.116.114.71 (talk) 18:36, 6 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Editing Note[edit]

This message is for whomever keeps track of this page. I have been assigned as part of my undergraduate entomology assignment to add scientifically valid information about Lygus lineolaris. This information will be retained from scientific articles and integrated into this page in my own words. Thanks. --Colourful14 (talk) 05:12, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
