Line of succession to the Bruneian ThroneLine of succession to the Bruneian throne — Throne is not a proper noun, so it shouldn't be capitalized. —Morhange (talk) 22:30, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support as nom. Morhange (talk) 22:36, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support with "to the", not "of the" Charles 23:05, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose, notably the 'to the' > 'of the' change. Also, what about the British throne, which uses 'to the', as an example? It seems to me you are proposing only low-traffic thrones (hehe) so you can then use the 'look-other-articles-use-it' reason for renaming the high-traffic ones too. +Hexagon1 (t) 04:56, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh my, I didn't even notice that... I'm changing my vote with a caveat. Charles 04:58, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oops, that was a mistake on my part. XD Sorry about that. Morhange (talk) 23:46, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    OK, changing to Support. +Hexagon1 (t) 01:01, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support there's no reason for throne to be capitalised. PeterSymonds (talk) 07:07, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New 3rd in line[edit]

For someone to add in the 2nd son to the successor (and grandson to the current sultan) born this 2015 year... Pengiran Muda Muhammad Aiman. That-Vela-Fella (talk) 23:59, 27 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

(3) Prince Muhammad Aiman (born 2016): grandson of Hassanal Bolkiah, second son of Al-Muhtadee Billah[edit]

He is not in succession according to the law. See [1]:
"It is hereby declared that upon Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ascending or for any reason whatsoever being unable to ascend to the throne of Brunei Darussalam, his eldest lawful son shall be the lawful Successor to the throne of Brunei Darussalam, and thereafter, the right to succeed to the throne of Brunei Darussalam shall vest in the eldest lawful son of that and each subsequent lawful Successor."
Second son can never climb the throne. --Chtrede (talk) 15:38, 4 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
