Higher achievers?[edit]

I dispute that streaming in education is about giving more resources to higher achievers. It is better described as splitting people into groups which reflect the speed at which they learn. Faster students can learn more whereas slower students can get more attention given to areas that trouble them.

Medical[edit]

There is also a room in several hospitals called "Streaming". Should this be included?--TimothyJacobson (talk) 10:38, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Organization[edit]

I have also heard the term "Stream" in an (IT-)organizational context to describe different Teams, responsible for SAP Modules / Processes e.g. "Asset Management Stream".
I wanted to look this up in Wikipedia but didn't find it. If this is a regular use, it may be helpfull to describe it in any article.
