Bold headings[edit]

Why are the headings in bold? 58.6.94.195 (talk) 12:30, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No idea. I've gone through and removed the boldness from them. StephenBuxton (talk) 12:32, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Bold move.

Content of SIPRI page out of date--doesn't reflect new research structure[edit]

Hi, I thought I posted this request on the correct talk page before, but one of the editors said I did it wrong and denied the request. Not sure how to proceed...Request copied below.

On the page 'https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_International_Peace_Research_Institute' the content is out of date and does not reflect the organisation's new research structure:

Current text reads: "Research: The SIPRI Yearbook[10] Euro-Atlantic Security and Arms Control Armed Conflict and Conflict Management Non-Proliferation and Export Controls Chemical and Biological Warfare Military Expenditure and Arms Production[11] Arms Transfers[12] IT Projects: "Facts on International Relations and Security Trends" and "An Internet-Based Early Warning Indicators System for Preventive Policy"

However, SIPRI was restructured a few months ago. To update the text to reflect the new research structure, it should read: "Research: Armament and Disarmament - Arms transfers, arms industry and military expenditure - Dual use and arms trade control - Nuclear, biological and chemical warfare - emerging technologies

Conflict and Peace - Peace Operations - Europe - Asia - Russia and Eurasia - Mali

Peace and Development - Climate change and security - Marginalization and insecurity - Prosperity and peace"

New organisational structure is reflected online (www.sipri.org) and I can find references in grant proposals, if you need other sources. Kindly let me know if you need additional information to make the changes. Thanks in advance! Kate.A.Sullivan (talk) 12:53, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
