Orphaned references in Sri Lanka Railways[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Sri Lanka Railways's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Merged[edit]

Merged Rail transport in Sri Lanka article into Sri Lanka Railways, WP:BOLD. These two subjects have a large overlap, and there seems to be very little difference in scope. They both discuss the rail network run by Sri Lanka Railways. Non SR run services provided by other private operators and discontinued services such as trams as well as proposed services such as metro are only differences in the scope. Operators[edit]

The premium services (if any still exist) need updating; ExpoRail is apparently defunct (needs a RS), and I couldn't ascertain if the Rajadhani Express is still in operation and (if so) under what name. Miniapolis 16:36, 7 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sri Lankan Railways small inaccuracy[edit]

In the article about Srilankan railways. Referring to Mihintale line it says the following: "Anuradhapura (the capital of Sri Lanka for over 100 years)"

It should be corrected as: capital of Sri Lanka over 1000 years 70.49.0.77 (talk) 01:09, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
