Title of the article[edit]

Although there is an article about Lehman Brothers and an article about American Express, this article is intended to explore the history of the Shearson side of the firm - tracing its predecessors and the period during which Shearson was merged with American Express, Lehman and EF Hutton. |► ϋrбanяeneωaℓ • TALK ◄| 11:22, 17 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Shearson Lehman Hutton → Shearson

Intend to combine Shearson Lehman Hutton with Shearson, Hammill & Co. to create a single article about Shearson from 1902 through the abandonment of the Shearson brand |► ϋrбanяeneωaℓ • TALK ◄| 16:53, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

- I am not sure that makes any sense. They are all variations of the same company over its life. I am going to propose leaving Shearson Hammill & Co. as a separate article at its current location but there is no reason that the main focus of the article should not be on the entire history. This article as currently rewritten should be moved to Shearson. I don't think there needs to be a disambiguation page any more |► ϋrбanяeneωaℓ • TALK ◄| 11:40, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
