Date Standardization[edit]

I've noticed that some translators are using BCE and others are using BC or B.C. - we should agree on one to use for the entire article. Any input? --Hobbularmodule 17:59, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

According to this link in the WP:MOS, either works. I prefer BCE. - Draeco 23:45, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Move?[edit]

Shouldn't it be Roman conquest of Hispania?

At least Cartaginians, Vandals et al., Visigoths and Muslims also conquered Hispania in different dates (not counting Napoleonic "friendly" invasion of Spain, nor the Reconquista). --Sugaar 22:06, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The title was inherited from the original version from the Spanish Wikipedia and it seems that the logic is that the name Hispania was exclusively the Roman name for the Iberian Peninsula and thus is only ever used within this context. GringoInChile 16:12, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, that's debatable. Hispania and Spain are the same etymylogically after all, and Hispania is still its name in Latin. Slac speak up! 07:51, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Name translation[edit]

Some of the names in this article, particularly the "Wars of Conquest" section, need to be translated back into Latin. I'd do it, but I'm not certain of some of the originals. -o is not a masculine nominative ending in Latin: Marco Fulvio should probably Marcus Fulvius, but there should be a nomen as well as a praenomen - e.g. Marcus Fulvius Nobilor. Can anyone help with this? Slac speak up! 07:55, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Umpalumpas?[edit]

Please remove the following?:

Done. Thank you for catching the vandalism. It had been there for more than two weeks. :~( In the future don't hesitate to remove it yourself - we'll all be appreciative! Xymmax (talk) 17:56, 6 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
