Photo in Infobox[edit]

I think that it is important to note here, that the image used in the infobox was taken in Chemnitz. Chemnitz, East Germany, is renowned for its petrified wood from strata of the Permian period. So, because Palmoxylon is a formtaxon of angiosperm trees, it should be carefully checked whether the image really shows the right taxon. Of course, it cannot be ruled out that in the Chemnitz exhibition there are also specimen on display that are not from Chemnitz and not from the Paleozoic but from elsewhere. Nevertheless there is a relativley high probability that the image does not show Palmoxylon. There is no label or so visible on the photo that could confirm its taxonomic identity.
