7th century descent[edit]

I have no knowledge about the legitimacy of this claim, however that is not my main problem with the edit. The first problem is the wording. "The O'Connells claim..." is wrong, the the source doesn't speak for all O'Connells, it can only speak for itself. Which brings me to my second problem, I doubt surnamedb.com can be considered a reliable source according to Wikipedia policy, since it doesn't list the sources for its claims and it is not peer-reviewed. --Saddhiyama (talk) 10:26, 26 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You may find it hard to comprehend that this is common knowledge among the Irish, I will again reword my input to try and suit what you define as acceptable, If you continue your disruption i will report you to Admin as mentally unstable and ask them to block you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.217.169.248 (talk) 13:20, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

203.217.169.248, keep the personal attacks up and you'll be the one who's blocked. Saddhiyama, surnamedb looks to be run by subject matter experts. Should we ask at WP:RSN to get more opinions? --NeilN talk to me 16:34, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
By all means. I would very much like a 3rd opinion on this. Thanks. --Saddhiyama (talk) 01:17, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
