Mo2010, the issue is that from what I can see, no reliable sources use the name "Niagara Falls Station and Customhouse Interpretive Center". Most simply call it the "Niagara Falls station" or similar. Wikipedia articles need to follow the WP:COMMONNAME as established in reliable sources. If the full name catches on, we can move the article, but until then it's better to follow what the sources are using.--Cúchullain ^t/c 21:37, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Cuchullain, with all due respect if the station has an official name that it should go by that name. Syracuse has the William F. Walsh Regional Transportation Center and vary few people call it that. I understand where you're coming from, but that's not how Wikipedia's article title criteria work. I notice that the station's own sign has "Niagara Falls Station" in much larger letters than the second part, so I doubt any reader will be confused by the current title. Again, if sources do start using the full name, we can look at it again, but at this point not a single source I can find actually uses it.--Cúchullain ^t/c 22:04, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with Cúchullain. (I also think that William F. Walsh Regional Transportation Center should be moved, per COMMONNAME). These vanity names are common with US stations, but no one is going to use them outside official pronouncements. Mackensen (talk) 22:20, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed with Mackensen and Cúchullain here. Given that zero sources even use that name, it might not be anything more than a creatively written sign. Common names should almost always take predence over little-used vanity names. Anyone saying they're catching a train at the The Governor Michael S.
