Seek sources for the article title.[edit]

Currently, look for reliable sources for the article title "Mr Jones" (not "Mr. Jones") as the original title in English of this work. Someone, please for your cooperation. 240A:6B:8A4:5BD:C3DF:6EEC:FBA6:853D (talk) 00:44, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Official title[edit]

The title on the film's official website(s) is Mr. Jones [1] [2], so I have moved this article back to its original orthography/punctuation, the way it was when Lugnuts created it. Softlavender (talk) 03:47, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This doesn’t seem a particularly constructive change, when we have here a film that is significantly British, and an article of long-standing British English. The film was released with different punctuation in the UK and US; I would suggest that however the stub might have originally been created isn’t of huge relevance. Putting the British title second in brackets, after the title as released in the US, when the film is a British-European co-production and not an American one, seems inappropriate. What matters is the official title, not the content or where it was released. Softlavender (talk) 07:03, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please check a information for a text '(Mr Jones in British release)'. No such a source found. 49.97.68.119 (talk) 09:56, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
