Role of Mashgiach ruchani[edit]
Mashgiach Ruchani functioned as the Spiritual Supervisor,Advisor and Guide to the yeshiva students. He generally was NOT responsible for maintaining the Yeshiva financially,nor recruiting and interviewing new students, and not in hiring staff.
His spiritual counseling usually took the form of public Mussar Lectures encompassing the teaching of proper ethics and moral behavior and private one on one counseling of students. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.12.116.69 (talk • contribs)

Let's ignore for a moment the deficient Hebrew transcription. But is there anything to substantiate the implicit claim that the duties of a mashgiach have historically been carried out by a woman? I doubt it. Elendil 03 (talk) 08:18, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
