Father's name[edit]

This article says his father's name was Constantine; while Anna Amalia's page says it was Ernst August (her husband and father of Carl August); any clarification? Could it be all one name: Constantine Ernst August or Ernst August Constantine? --FeanorStar7 01:56, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As a complication, Saxe-Weimar, which was originally based on the 1911 Encyclopaedia Brittannica, uses the Anglicized Ernest Augustus II and Charles Augustus. It would be nice to regularize these things across all related articles. -- Donald Albury^(Talk) 13:23, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Charles Augustus, Grand Duke of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach → Karl August, Grand Duke of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach — As per most uses within article itself.
