Helsinki and Ilkka Remes

There are Independece Day festivities all over Finland, not just in Helsinki. The article as it stands doesn't seem to really capture this. Also, is that Ilkka Remes mention really necessary? The Jäger Myth and Capital I

What the heck? Someone reverted my edit of the word 'itsenäisyyspäivä' back to 'Itsenäisyyspäivä'. Why is this? In Finnish, names of holidays are not capitalized. Also, the legend about two candles set for jägers passing in secrecy is more or less just that - a legend. It can't be verified by noteworthy sources. This reads a bit awkward:

When a year had passed since declaration of independence, 6 December 1918, the academical people celebrated the day.
