The 5th July 2006 revision to the article decided that this Herbert Austin is not the Geelong one. Malcolma 08:03, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

List of Mayors of Geelong shows Mayor of City of Geelong, in 1909, as Herbert Arthur Austin - obviously not Lord Austin. Pyrotec 21:07, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Belgian honours[edit]

I think this article may be perpetuating a misquote that may have been in the source citation but erroneous:

he was awarded the Belgium Order of the Crown of Leopold II, for his employment of 3,000 Belgian refugees at Longbridge.

It cannot mean it was awarded by Leopold II as the latter died before the First World and his son Albert I was Belgian sovereign at the time Austin was awarded the honour. I am suspecting there might have been two Belgian awards - the Order of the Crown and the Order of Leopold II - meant in the sentence? I wonder if Burke's peerage or Who Was Who and other similar reference books in Austin's lifetime stated his Belgian honours?Cloptonson (talk) 19:41, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
