2005?[edit]

Anyone know anything about a 2005 chronology? It is mentioned at Before Present under "b2k". --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 19:35, 8 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Mistaken graph[edit]

In the second graph (by User:पाटलिपुत्र), the Younger Dryas is mistakenly reaching too far into the holocene. This is a bad sign for the quality!HJJHolm (talk) 07:09, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Moreover, the source is secondary, full of misunderstandings, misinterpretations and without scientific experience with the subject. It is naive to tell about the plural, in fact there is only one indication here without the primary source. Therefore, it had to be taken out. Too bad. There are dozens of better ones.2A02:8108:9640:1A68:31D1:F57B:3DCE:D718 (talk) 10:01, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

-508C ?[edit]

The article mentions ice cores being stored at -508C. May I suggest there is some sort of mistake with this number. I have checked the source and it appears there also but it is surely incorrect. Damorbel (talk) 19:53, 2 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Clearly nonsense (not even physically possible :-) but as you say the source agrees. I don't think we really need to know the exact temperature, so I just cut it William M. Connolley (talk) 13:26, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
