Recognition by Russia[edit]

I've googled two hours and still have not clear sources about recognition of Ukraine independence by Ukraine. Article say Ukraine independence was recognize by Russia at 2 December. In google I see many messages that it was 3 or 5 December. Газета Свобода at 4 December say about 2 December evening as «it was said» that Russia recognized Ukraine but I didn't found any document or clear news like smb. who??? say that Russia recognize Ukraine. @Jwkozak91: It's definitely not typo in Gordon M. Hahn book because he say next day.. draft Union Treaty and I see that this resolution was 3 December Постановление ВС СССР от 3 декабря 1990 года № 1809-1 «Об общей концепции нового Союзного Договора и предлагаемом порядке его заключения» // Ведомости СНД и ВС СССР. — 1990. — № 50. — ст. 1077. So, Gordon M. Hahn definitely means 2 December. I'll try find what happened at 2 December... Artem.komisarenko (talk) 00:21, 1 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Here I see: in a significant move, Russian President Boris Yeltsin issued a statement on December 3 recognizing Ukraine's independence and expressing the need for forging new interstate relations between the Russian federation and Ukraine. Mr. Yeltsin had announced several times last week that if Ukraine did not join the new political Union of Sovereign States neither would be RSFSR Artem.komisarenko (talk) 12:21, 1 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
