How do I download Arimo TTF fonts for Windows?[edit]

How do I download Arimo TTF fonts for Windows? • SbmeirowTalk • 16:04, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You may try here. Edokter (talk) — 16:33, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, but I was looking for True Type font for Windows. This is a Linux RPM archive, so I'm not sure of its contents. • SbmeirowTalk • 17:49, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It contains the .ttf files. And I know 7-Zip will open the files. Edokter (talk) — 19:24, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Apache Licensing[edit]

Despite what you may find elsewhere (like documentation in the Arch AUR repositories and fontsquirrel.com), the croscore fonts are NOT licensed under the SIL/OFL. The definitive reference is the license embedded within the font files themselves, and this is Apache 2.0. In a linux environment, you may utilize the command "otfinfo" to display license information included in OTF and TTF files. In addition to the Google Font sources cited in the article, secondary information can be found on Debian, Ubuntu, and Fedora sites corroborating the Apache license as well. (Font Squirrel has been notified of their error). Cpoakes (talk) 23:46, 3 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"basis for" Liberation[edit]

Arimo and Liberation sans are the same font. Different name but same glyphs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.210.143.188 (talk) 23:44, 27 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The whole lineage is frankly messy, as it really depends on which version of Liberation we are looking at. Perhaps we should merge the big three with liberation and the last two with their corresponding proprietary typefaces. --Artoria2e5 contrib 22:44, 7 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Listed in "variations". --Artoria2e5 contrib 00:54, 11 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
