Second or Third?[edit]

Are they second or third? What is the distinction here? --Gbleem 22:59, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Never crashed?[edit]

"The fact that no camper in the history of FATP has ever crashed the Falcon is a testimony to the reputation of the camp, and the teamwork and skill of the campers." I'm not sure I believe this. I might believe never crashed on the final exam after completing their training I might believe but I'm sure some kid has crashed on purpose just for fun. If not some kid should so we can take this line out. --Gbleem 23:02, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Edited to add during final mission. I attended this camp and recall a Falcon crash during mission rehearsal, but they did state no crash had occured during final mission. This was in 1995. Behind the scenes?[edit]

"The rush has a purpose. On the morning of the third day, the campers are loaded onto a chartered bus, and driven all the way down to Houston, Texas. There they stay in a local hotel, and for the next two days tour behind the scenes at Space Center Houston. Currently they are the only civilian group allowed behind the scenes at the NASA facilities in Texas." What does "behind the scenes" mean here? --Gbleem 23:06, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Director charged with stealing[edit]

Where is all the stuff about the director getting charged with stealing artifacts? I want the real story. --Gbleem 02:22, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I added a section on the missing items and former director Max Ary. Clockster 13:42, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Where is the citation for the sentence about the artifacts "mysteriously" reappearing? It's not mentioned in any of the articles on the cited page. Tristan (talk) 11:15, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I went ahead and removed that sentence, since I could not find a single source to back it up and since it appears to have been placed there to cast the Cosmosphere in a negative light. Tristan (talk) 11:25, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kansas Cosmosphere and Space CenterCosmosphere International SciEd Center – The museum has officially changed its name as of July 15, 2015. It is appropriate for the article to follow suite. • oppose the official website of the organization does not reflect this assertion. While it may be true, it may be heading that way, or whatever--we should wait for confirmation.--Paul McDonald (talk) 21:09, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Is this correct?[edit]

After Liberty Bell 7, the article says "It is the only flown spacecraft owned by a museum outside the National Air and Space Museum". Is this correct? For instance, Project_Mercury#Displays lists ones at several places. Is the key word "owned", i.e. the National Air and Space Museum owns them but they are on loan to other museums?
