orphaned[edit]

I just noticed that this article is orphaned. I've got to go to work, or else I'd take care of this right now. Here are some articles that can link to this one (I'm only familiar with the US statistics):

  • Money supply
  • Bureau of Labor Statistics
  • Unemployment rate
  • Productivity

And some articles that should link to this one that do not exist:

  • Business Cycle Indicators
  • Index of Lagging Indicators

Suspected Consumer Metrics Institute linkspam[edit]

User:Rdavis1946 has been going around to several economic indicator articles adding external links to the "Consumer Metrics Institute", an organization I have never heard of before. The external links have been placed both in the body of articles and in the external links section of articles. Rdavis1946 originally had the username Cmii staff, which could easily refer to "Consumer Metrics Institute, Inc. staff". According to this site, "Richard Davis" is "President of the Consumer Metrics Institute". I think we have a serious conflict of interest here.

The Consumer Metrics Institute does not appear to be a notable organization. Instead, it appears to be a website with lots of cheaply-made MS Excel graphs.
