interim managers[edit]

Since remi muanza was let go as the manager of Ajax Cape Town, three different managers have acted as care taker of the club, starting with Wilfred Mugeyi, followed by Jan Pruijn and finally Jan Versleijen who will see them through to the end of the season. I have listed all three interim managers, since this year has not been a good one for the Cape Town club, with the shareholders in dispute, and with three separate care takers, looking over the club over the course of this season. This is very similar to the situtation Ajax Amsterdam went through in the 1988-89 season, and I have followed that model from the AFC Ajax page to display this in case of this season managers with Ajax Cape Town. Future of this page[edit]

Ajax Cape Town FC will no longer exist as per October 31st, 2020. The partnership is over as AFC Ajax has sold their shares back to Ari Efstathiou. Cape Town Stars (Pty) Ltd now owns all shares of the club and has submitted their request to SAFA to have the club renamed Cape Town Spurs as per October 1st, 2020. The shirts badge and Ajax branding and association with AFC Ajax altogether are over. I would suggest keeping this article for legacy purposes as the Ajax Cape Town F.C. article on Wikipedia and creating a new article for the Cape Town Spurs profile once the name has been confirmed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.97.201.154 (talk) 08:42, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I would suggest that we rename this page to Cape Town Spurs F.C.. 76.103.46.252 (talk) 15:56, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
