Bachelor of Arts[edit]

Why is bachelor of arts so far down the list? isn't that the most frequently encountered meaning of "B.A."? —Preceding unsigned comment added by PalaceGuard008 (talkcontribs) 06:03, May 29, 2007

Maybe. That's what I came here looking for. In any event, since I can't "place the items in order of usage," as the Manual of Style recommends, I just alphabetized the entries, which were in no detectable order. By lucky coincidence, Bachelor of Arts is now second from the top. --zenohockey 00:15, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Due to the ease and prevalence of use of BA, Special:Whatlinkshere/BA should be regularly inspected for links that can be redirected to more appropriate targets, 90% of which appear to be Bachelor of Arts. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 01:56, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Beauty Advisor[edit]

The term BA as beauty advisor seems to be used in South East Asia, and they don't bother explaining it, thinking that the abbreviation is universally known (similar to their 'CM' for TV commercials). It took some time for me to decypher it, and I just wanted to share finding. Hellerick (talk) 08:27, 17 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Hellerick: thanks. To be listed on a disambiguation page, your observation would need to be appropriately recorded at the relevant article, in accordance with MOS:DABABBREV. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 16:58, 17 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
