Åland Swedish → Åländska – The current title seems made up by Wikipedia editors; I cannot find a single online use of it outside of this article, not even in unreliable sources. Wikipedia:Article titles#Foreign names and anglicization states that "If there are too few reliable English-language sources to constitute an established usage, follow the conventions of the language appropriate to the subject" (which, in this case, is clearly Swedish itself). I am neutral but will point out possible alternative titles: "Åland dialect of Swedish" [1][2][3][4] or "Ålandic dialect (of Swedish)" [5]. An English title is more recognizable to readers. "Swedish of Åland" [6] and "Western Åland Swedish" [7] are used, so I don't think the current title is bad at all. – Thjarkur(talk) 18:52, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

According to the Finnish Thesaurus and Ontology Service entry, the term that libraries etc. should use in English is Åland dialects. Plural because there are Eastern and Western Åland dialects. I support either "Åland dialects" or "Åland dialect". Also, this is common naming in Wikipedia (Category:Dialects by language).
