Juraqan (Persian: جورقان), also Romanized as Jūraqān, Jarūqān, and Jowraqān; also known as Jooraghan, Jūrūghan, and Jūzghān,^[3] is a city in the Central District of Hamadan County, Hamadan province, Iran, serving as the administrative center for Hegmataneh Rural District.^[4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 8,851 in 2,311 households.^[5] The following census in 2011 counted 9,262 people in 2,769 households.^[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 9,234 people in 3,042 households.^[2]
