- The formerly proposed Autonomous Government of Bangsamoro would replace it, as part of preliminary peace agreements signed between the Moro Islamic Liberation Front and the Philippine government in 2012 and 2014. In January 25, 2019 this becomes effective after 2019 creation plebiscite has approved.
