Season chronology

Tamasha 2 is the second season of reality TV programme Tamasha, which airs on ARY Digital. It adheres to the format of the Dutch reality show, Big Brother, which is licensed by Banijay in the Netherlands. The Pakistani version has celebrities as housemates.

Its first season premiered on 20 August 2022, hosted by actor Adnan Siddiqui. The second season first aired on 5 August 2023, with the same host, Adnan Siddiqui returning. This time there are 14 housemates, rather than 13, like the previous season. The grand finale took place on 23 September 2023, where Aruba Mirza emerged as winner of the show and Junaid Niazi became the runner-up.

Jail

This season, a Jail was introduced to the housemates. This Jail was located in the Gym Area. The Jail could only be opened and closed by the Wazir, who had the power to send housemates to the jail. The Wazir would hand the card to the prisoner, then chain them and lock them in the Jail.

Wazir's Musheer

This season also took an intriguing turn with the introduction of a unique house dynamic. Housemates were now eligible to take on the pivotal role of "Musheer", serving as both an assistant and a counsellor to the Wazir (Captain), thus earning the title and responsibilities associated with this prestigious position; accompanying and counselling the Wazir with all the decisions. The role of Musheer does not grant a housemate immunity from nominations.

Later on, Badshah Salaamat announced that the Wazir of the house will now be able to choose two of his housemates as his Musheers.

Weekly summary

	Twists	On Day 6, Badshah assigned Amber a secret task to fetch milk for the housemates. With the assistance of 2-3 housemates, Amber had to discreetly conceal all of Rana's glasses without alerting him or the other housemates.
		Result - Amber failed this secret task.
	Nominations	Annan, Amber, Natasha, Neha, Nida and Rana were nominated for first-week eviction.

	Tasks	Immunity Task - Tamasha Tokens On Day 2, every nominated housemate receives ten Tamasha Tokens, which they can use for various facilities in the house. Facility Amount of Tokens One Meal 2 Tea, Fruit or Eggs 1 Bathroom 1 Make-up Room 1 Gym 1 Four hours of sleep 2 The nominated housemates must present the token in front of the Wazir and a camera and give a reason for using a token, then place the token in the box. Nominated housemates are allowed to steal tokens from each other. Danish will be the supervisor of this task, and can take the help of Zainab as well. If a housemate uses a facility without paying a token, they can be given a punishment by the Wazir, and sent to Jail by the Wazir. By the end of the task, tokens saved by the housemates were; Rana - 1 Junaid - 11 Omer - 11 Michelle - 10 Neha - 11 Amber - 6 Aruba - 0 Nida - 6 Adnan - 0 Natasha - 6 Ali - 11 Faizan - 12 Since, Faizan and Junaid had highest tokens and they won the task. Omer, Neha and Ali had 11 tokens however, Wazir took one from each therefore Wazir had to safe one from Omer, Neha and Ali. He chose Ali.

		Immunity Task - Water Tanks On day 4, Nominated contestants were divided into three teams. Team 1 - Omer, Aruba and Neha Team 2 - Adnan, Michelle and Amber Team 3 - Rana, Natasha and Nida Each team is allotted a glass cubical tank. One member from each team has to transfer water using a small glass from a large cubical tank to their own tank, while the other team members must distract the opposing team during the transfer. At the conclusion of each round, the team with the lower water level is required to eliminate one team member from their own ranks. At the task's conclusion, Omer, Aruba, and Neha emerge as the winners. Badshah asks the winning team to choose two members to save from nominations. They opt to save Omer and Aruba, thereby exempting them from the nomination process.

		Immunity Task - Uran Khatola On Day 5, the saved contestants (Omer, Aruba, Faizan, Zainab, Danish, Ali, Junaid) engage in a task where each of them is tasked with carrying a bag labeled with the name of a nominated contestant. They then embark on a Rickshaw ride. The individual who boards the Rickshaw last is eliminated from the task, and the bag of the nominated contestant they're carrying remains in the nomination pool. 		Luxury Budget Task On Day 6, Housemates were divided into two teams to perform a theatre drama to be judged by a special guest. -Team Junaid : Junaid, Omer, Danish, Neha, Aruba, Michelle, Adnan. -Team Faizan: Faizan, Ali, Amber, Natasha, Nida, Rana, Zainab.
		Result - Team Faizan won the luxury budget.
	Exits	On Day 8, Nida Firdous was evicted after facing public votes.
Week 2	Twists	On Day 9, Junaid was given a secret task by Badshah. Junaid was assigned to mess with the food in the house, such as add more spices to a certain item of food, or hide some food. If Junaid can do all this without being caught within a day, he can win a specific amount of ration.
		Junaid won this secret task. The housemates received ration for the week.

	Wazaarat Task	Basta Bachao, Wazir Ban Jao In this task, there are two parts for the guys and girls separately. The guys go first. Each round starts with a siren. Housemates enter the activity area, grab their own rucksacks full of styrofoam balls, and wear them. They walk in the outer circle marked on the ground, trying to take out the styrofoam balls from others' bags while protecting their own. They stay in the same circle layer and can walk clockwise or counter-clockwise. When the second siren sounds, the round ends, and they place their rucksacks in the middle of the circle before heading back to the house. If a housemate's rucksack is empty, they're out. The next round starts with the next siren. The housemate with the most styrofoam balls in the final round wins. Winners emerge from both the guys' and girls' sides. These winners are the only ones eligible to become the next Wazir. Ambar would be the supervisor for the males parts of the task, and Rana would supervise the females part of the task. Zainab would not be able to participate in this task.
		Results - Omer won the first part from the boys side. Aruba and Neha became physically violent and Badshah decided to make them both the candidates for the Wazir, along with Omer.

	Tasks	Immunity Task - Lafzon ki Kahaani Bachaaye Zindagaani There will be three teams for this task. Team Ali : Junaid, Michelle and Rana Team Faizan : Natasha, Adnan and Aruba Team Neha : Danish, Amber and Zainab In the activity area, there are three whiteboards, each whiteboard has a team's name on it. There is a table full of magnets which have the Urdu Alphabet on them. Using these magnets, the teams will compete to create words. Each round, for five seconds, there will be an Urdu word on the telescreen. When a team completes a word, they will tell the supervisor of the task, Omer, and he will announce the winning team of that round. The teams that lose the round will eliminate one member from their teams, and this will be upto those team members. In the end, the remaining two players still in the game will win immune from this weeks nominations

		Tamasha Bank This task would be played by the nominated housemates. The participating housemates are divided into two teams. Team A - Ali, Rana, Natasha, Neha and Michelle Team B - Omer, Zainab, Amber, Danish and Adnan The activity area features a bank setup with two printing presses, a waiting counter, and a cash counter. Each team has two stamp papers and a pair of scissors. Two members from each team stamp currency on one table, while another two cut, dry, and safeguard their currency on another table. The remaining team member deposits the currency in the bank. Rounds start and end upon Badshah's announcements. The bank opens with the first buzzer and closes with the second. Teams must print, cut, and deposit their currency between the buzzer sounds. Only one housemate can deposit at the cash counter at a time; the other must wait in the waiting area. Aruba, Faizan, and Junaid are safe but will participate as the bank manager, cashier, and security guard, rotating their roles as needed. Aruba supervises the task, preventing theft between teams. If Aruba witnesses any theft, she can send the offender to jail or suspend them for 15 minutes to an hour. When depositing currency for the first time, teams must buy a vault at a price determined by the bank manager. The manager and cashier accept or reject currency notes based on quality. Poor-quality notes are signed, returned, and charged a commission if a vault is purchased. The cashier may also keep these notes in their vault.
		Result - No team won the task due to no clarity in the tasks supervisation.
		Just Grab It The nominated housemates were called into the Activity Area. They each were given a stick. They had to stand in a circle and hold the stick. When the horn sound was played, they had to leave the stick they're holding and grab the stick on their right, from the other housemate. The housemate which drops the stick or fails to catch the stick will be eliminated from the task. The housemate standing last will win immunity from nominations for that week.

		Jame Rahoge to Bache Rahoge The nine nominated housemates were called into the Activity Area. Each had to stand on a platform and stay stood until they were tired. They were not allowed to eat or drink at all. If they come off, they can go in the house, but only two housemates at a time. The housemate standing last will win immunity from this weeks nominations.
