English: Blue plaque, Cheltenham, UK : "For valour Surgeon-General William Manley VC, CB Royal Artillery (1831 - 1901) Lived here 1884 - 1901. " For brave conduct during the attack on a rebel fort near Tauranga, New Zealand, on 29 April 1864, when he rescued several wounded soldiers".
