Description
English: Rai Languages are Belong to Kiranti group of Sino-Tibetan Languages family spoken by ethnolinguistics Rai People in Eastern Nepal, and Sikkim,Darjeeling Kalimpong in India and South Western Part of Bhutan. There are more then 28 different Rai sub-groups speak their own language and dialect. The Rai Linguistic sub-groups are: Bantawa,Chamling,Kulung,Thulung,Athpahariya,Khaling,Mewahang or Newahang,Jerung,Dumi,Dungmali,Puma,Sampang,Koyee,Bayung or Bahing, Lohorung,Yamphu,Wambule,Nachhering,Tilung,Phangduwali,Chhiling,Lambichong,Mugali etc
