Description
English: Metuloid cystidium stained with Congo red, Inocybe sp. Bright field micrograph, 63X objective, taken with Zeiss AxioImager microscope and Zeiss Axiocam camera, Merritt College microscopy lab, Oakland, CA. Mushroom sample gathered at Point Reyes National Seashore as part of Bay Area Mycological Society foray. The cell partially visible directly above the cystidium is a basidium, the downward-pointing sterigmata being clearly visible.
