Description
English: Frontul Popular ("The Popular Front"), unsigned propaganda cartoon originally carried in the Romanian leftist newspaper Cuvântul Liber of 1935 (editor: Tudor Teodorescu-Braniște); republished without mention of copyright in Era Socialistă of June 1973. Showing a worker, intellectual and peasant trampling on a swastika-bearing snake; the implicit reference is an alliance between the socialists (including legal wings of the Romanian Communist Party) and the National Peasantists.

Public domain This work was first published in Romania and is now in the public domain because its copyright protection has expired by virtue of the Law on Copyrights, enacted 2004, 2005 and 2006, amended 2010.
